one day letterpress workshop
The workshop is an introduction to letterpress printing on a Chandler & Price Pilot platen table top press. You will learn basic type setting, mixing your own colours and you will also be able to use our images. The workshop will also be about learning the basic maintenance of the press and operating procedures. In the class all materials will be provided, but you will need to bring your own paper to print on - a paper list will be provided prior to the class.
No experience is required.
to ensure more time on the press - class is limited to two people
each class is 4 hours long

saturday, september 11, 10-2pm FULL
saturday, october 16, 10-2pm FULL
saturday, october 30, 10-2pm FULL
workshops will resume in january - email me if you would like to be notified when the dates are announced.
Price:$120

Instructor's bio
Arounna Khounnoraj has over 15 years of print making and teaching experience. She has taught workshops at Harbourfront Centre while she was a Textile resident in the craft studios and print making at the Art Gallery of Ontario. She is currently a part-time instructor in Design at The Ontario College of Art and Design and at Sheridan College. |
