frame art project
Lliam enjoyed helping with this project - it was hard keeping him away from the hot glue. You can use white glue, but it takes so long to set. Please check out the instructions over at Bloesem Kids.
This long weekend was so beautiful - not too hot - everyone went to the cottage, but we stayed in town finishing up work for the TOAE and also fulfilling orders. We took a break on sat. and went to the R.O.M to see dinosaurs - what a treat.

I thought this was such a cute cat drawing- lliam did the bottom line from under the whiskers to under the tail and john drew the top part. I hope they do more collaborations.

stencil veneer project
I enjoy doing stencilling on small and large scales - I find it's quick and easy - compared to getting my screen ready for an image. Please look at this weeks project over at Bloesem Kids.

where have I've been?
I feel like I've been out of the loop - the story is our computer malfunctioned and it cost too much money to even talk about to recover info on the hard drive and to replace parts. I am back - firstly our loft/studio is officially not ours - we sold it in order to get a storefront/apartment. It's all in the works and I will let you know when we have a new place. It's going to be very busy this summer -the outdoor show is in a few weeks and we have a few smaller shows in sept. and we will be gearing up for the one of a kind show in the fall and I have a full teaching load at OCAD - also next week is my 35th birthday - yeahh good times ahead. Have a great weekend!!
