new prints

these new designs will be showing up soon the baby/kids collection- these are some of the animal drawings that john did for the bag of animals (canadian edition)- there is also a moose and goose- I hope you like these designs, I think he did such a great job! I will show more later.

mono print

lliam enjoys painting a lot - this was a fun project to make a print from the painting - the project was unexpected and fun - have a try over at bloesem kids - there is also a little surprise.

lovely long weekend

this has been a great long weekend - we decided last minute to spend the long weekend visiting John's parents instead of the cottage. Lliam really enjoys playing the piano - homemade pie is so delightful.

new bags

our popular tree print is back!! - Please check out our new bags - I re-designed this style bag from a few years ago - it was called the pucker bag - I made it a bit bigger and fixed the pleats - it's a great everyday bag - hope you like it.

happy mother's day

have a good weekend and a happy mother's day - lliam practicing his bottom lip and some new tea towels for my mother in-law.

shadow box collage

It's been busy around here - trying to keep up with web orders and trying to making new work - I am also in the midst of working on wedding invitations for a client- I will show you the end result after the wedding. It's my first ever and it's been fun - I guess I would be open to doing more in the future. I think this week's project is a great way to create a scene using found objects and photos. Please check out the instructions over at bloesem kids.

bag of animals - Canadian edition

Awhile a go we were asked by Todd from Motherbrand if we would be interested in creating a Canadian edition of the bag of animals for their Souvenir Shop - and we said yes - the above image is john working on a beaver drawing. The other image is John working out some details for a future bloesem kids project.

okay I know what I said about being a linen lover - well canvas is also wonderful - especially the duck kind - so here is a peek at a new pattern (I'm really pleased with how it turned out) I'm calling the pattern blot and the bag is called bucket bag - it has an oval bottom which is great to keep the bag upright - it will be great for groceries or storage or for just toting around town - more bags to come.

p.s. we are still on the hunt for a brick and mortar shop - thanks for the encouraging emails.
